Rename l to a different file extension, Open eLicenser Control Center, click on Maintenace and run it. Open Task Manager, Find Protected Object Server process, terminate the task. Restart the reFX Cloud App and you should be able to successfully log. Check the boxes next to 'Use TLS 1.1.' and 'Use TLS 1.2' and then click 'Apply' near the bottom of the window. Click on the 'Advanced' tab at the top of the pop up window. I can't recover what I previously had as there is no way to tell what the settings were and I couldn't possibly remember and repeat it all. After reading the workarounds people mentioned had to do it in this order. Type in 'Internet options' in the search field and press Enter. My guess is that Logic somehow corrupted the plugin name somewhere along the way. Cant even perform maintenance tasks anymore.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the eLicenser to no avail, I tried running as an administrator which failed to work, I even tried turning off DEP as a fix which worked in Windows 7, but Windows 10 hits the. In my case, my old key disappeared from my eLicenser (still on my Steinberg page). The eLicenser Control Center is a utility that allows for managing music software. The eLicenser Control Center does not run either so all the buttons are greyed out, and I cannot even activate my license. It looks like I have to use the eLicenser Control Center for that but it refuses to connect when Im in my DAW (same network).

I recently opened a Logic Pro X project that I haven't touched for a few weeks and received an error: "Failed to load Audio Unit "Virtual Mix", please contact the manufacturer for an updated version or further assistance.ġ) I have not made any changes/updates to the plugin or Logic in that time.Ģ) I assume the Audio Unit in question is Slate Digital's "Virtual Mix Rack," which Plug-In Manager shows is installed and successfully validated.
